KULGAM: The Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Mr. Talat Parvez Rohella today chaired a meeting at Mini Secretariat here to review the arrangements for Muharram in Shia-majority areas of Shuhu-Sachen and Wangama, Devsar.
The concerned officers were directed to ensure that all requisite arrangements are made available to the devotees during these days.
He directed the AD FCS&CA, DFO, Exen PDD/PHE to ensure the provision of adequate rations, wood for Imambaras, uninterrupted power supply and potable drinking water in these areas.
Meanwhile, he also directed CMO to ensure availability of life-saving drugs and installation of medical camps around Imambaras, besides keeping ambulances ready in case of mishap.
