Srinagar: The youth wing of Opposition National Conference (NC) on Tuesday staged an anti-government protest in Srinagar to denounce the recent civilian killings and use of force on protesting students.
Led by provincial youth president Salman Sagar, scores of workers of the party marched on the Residency Road befre finally reaching the Press Enclave.
The protesters were wearing black suits as a mark of protest against the civilian killings and injuries to the students.
Students across Kashmir on Monday took to streets in an unprecedented show of solidarity with the students of Pulwama Degree College, dozens of whom were injured in clashes with government forces on Saturday.
