Over 85 structures damages due to windstorm in Pulwama

Srinagar :  Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Muneer Ul Islam along with a team of revenue officers visited many affected areas since today morning. He asked the revenue officers to assess the damage caused to Crops due to windstorm and submit it to his office as soon as possible.

Muneer Ul Islam said hundreds of poplar trees fell due to fast wind and some trees have fallen on 33000 KV line but efforts are on to restore electricity by this evening,

He said hotline to the district hospital Pulwama is expected to be restored before evening. He added that three tehsils Pulwama, Shahoora and Kakapora have suffered maximum damage due to winds.
