Srinagar, May 17: Deputy Mayor of Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) Sheikh Imran on Friday joined the Sajjad Lone led Peoples Conference here.
A Peoples Conference (PC) spokesperson on Friday said that Mr Imran joined the party folds in presence of party chairman Sajad Gani Lone, General Secretary Imran Reza Ansari and other leaders.
Welcoming Mr Imran into the party fold, Mr Sajad said that his joining will strengthen the party in Srinagar.
“Mr Imran is a young and dynamic entrepreneur. He is a self made man in politics. He has strived and made himself heard by the dint of his dynamism. His joining will immensely strengthen Peoples Conference in Srinagar,” he said.
