Srinagar 21st June : BJP believes that “Yoga is an invaluable gift of ancient India. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being of a human being .”
The State General Secretary (BJP) Ashok Koul was the Chief Guest & Guest of Honour was Chandra Mohan Gupta (Mayor of Jammu city ) .Speaking on the occasion Mr Koul said that it was not about the physical exercises only but it is to discover the sense of oneness within us and the world and the nature around . Yoga is above religion, caste, colour, gender and region, it is above everything. It aims to integrate the body and the mind.
He also said that “World has accepted the countless benefits of yoga and is celebrating the day throughout the world today and the people must adopt yoga in daily life to avail its benefits”.
The excited workers of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Kashmir said there would have been more participation here but for the changing moods of weather they couldn’t make it .
