Srinagar, Jun 22: A woman from Bihar allegedly committed suicide in north Kashmir district of Bandipora late Friday night, official sources said on Saturday.
They said a woman, who was not identified, consumed some poisonous substance at her house at Quil Muqam in Bandipora late last night. However, she was immediately rushed to hospital where she was declared brought dead.
It was not immediately known why the woman, from Bihar who had married to a local man here, took this extreme step.
Police has registered a case and initiated proceedings.
