Anantnag, Jul 6: A Saudi Arabia tourist was killed and a local driver injured in a road accident in Pahalgam in this south Kashmir district, official sources said on Saturday.
They said a vehicle returning from Golf Course skiided off the road and turned turtle at Laripora, Pahalgam resulting in critical injuries to a Saudi Arabia national identified as Khaleel Ahmad Qureshi and driver Sameer Ahmad Najar, son of Abdul Jabbar Najar, resident of Lolab Kupwara.
Both the injured were immediately rushed to nearby hospital where Qureshi died.
Police has registered case and initiated proceedings, they said.
